Backgammon was the first Psion program released during 1983 because it was thought that it was the quickest piece of software to produce. It was a good game to play and one of my favourite psi-spectrum games.

Some people at the time thought that the game was marketed wrongly and that Psion Chess should have been released first, but I will leave you to decide that for yourself.
